Events

Description

Events appear on the home page, on the events landing page, and as individual event pages.

ADDING AND EDITING Events

From the Content drop down at the top, select Events. To create a new event, select the Create a event button. To edit an existing one, click on the event from the list.

Fields

  • Title: event title
  • Content: the full detail content of the event which displays on the event detail page
  • Repeat Event: selection for repeatable events; displays additional options for repeatable events when selected
  • All Day: toggle for all day events without specific times
  • Start Time: time the event begins
  • End Time: time the event ends
  • Event Time Zone: time zone designation for the event times
  • Categories: categories for the event; used in filtering
  • Tags: tags associated with the event
  • Calendar: the calendar that contains the event
  • Location - Street: street address of the event's location
  • Location - City: city of the event's location
  • Location - Country: country of the event's location
  • Location - State: state of the event's location
  • Location -How to find us: used to designate the event's location name
  • Contact - Email: contact email address for the event contact
  • Contact - Website: website or link for the event
  • Contact - Contact name: name of the event contact
  • Contact - Cell Phone: cell phone number of the event contact
  • Contact - Phone: phone number of the event contact
  • Image: image associated with the event, displays on the detail page and if shown as a featured event

Components

  • Events - Detail: template to display the full detail page of an event
  • Event - Feature: template to display an event as a featured event
  • Events - List /w title: template to display a list of events with a title
