Graduation and Retention Rates
The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) was developed by the U.S. Department’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) to adhere to the amended Higher Education Act of 1965. This Act requires all institutions participating in any federal student financial aid programs to report data in the following areas: enrollment, program completion, financial aid, finance, graduation rates, human resource and institutional cost.
IPEDS conducts surveys annually to collect the mandated information from the nations’ colleges, universities, and technical and vocational institutions. The data from these surveys are made available to students, parents and the public through the Web site. The is a tool designed to provide researchers and the public with data on postsecondary institutions.
If you need help navigating through these sites please contact the IPEDS or Â鶹´«Ã½ University Office of Institutional Research.
