Curriculum

Coursework in organizational management provides insight into many areas of business. Accredited through the ACBSP, this area of study consists of courses in Business English and Communication, Business Statistics, Business Research, Organizational Theory and Behavior, Adult Development and Life Assessment, Managerial Accounting, Business Finance, Principles of Management, Marketing Management, Sociology of Social Problems, Business Law, Business Policy, Personal Values and Organizational Ethics, and Human Resource Management.

Careers and Outcomes

Management can involve leading an entire organization or supervising specific departments, such as human resources or information technology. In our program, you'll learn skills that pertain to a variety of areas, including for-profit, non-profit, education and government sectors. You'll develop the acumen needed to build and lead dynamic teams and become a valuable asset to an organization. The Organizational Management major also provides a strong foundation for graduate study in business, management, marketing, public administration and human resources, if you choose to further your education.

Admissions Requirements

This program is designed specifically for working adults. To be considered for the program, potential students must:

  • Complete and submit a Â鶹´«Ã½ University Center for Professional and Continuing Studies Application for Admission. (Application fee is $30)
  • Be at least 22 years of age
  • Be able to attend classes 2-4 nights per week and/or on weekends
