The Office of Global Education initiates and mediates opportunities for students and faculty to strategically engage the spaces, places and activities that promote the development of globally engaged citizenship and effective leadership. The intention is to graduate students who have 21stcentury skills and sensibilities and entrust students as ambassadors equipped with these competencies and capabilities. Our university is as firmly positioned in the cultivation of human capital as it is committed to growing human conscience.
Six global programs provide students and faculty with cresting opportunities to cultivate greater self-awareness, perspective, empathy, and cultural sensitivity, while acquiring studied alertness to the intersectionality of local, national, and global issues. Â鶹´«Ã½’s strategic collaborations across national and international academic institutions and its curricular and co-curricular pedagogical frameworks help steer students and faculty through diverse cultures and circumstances and toward productive intercultural dialogue and skill exchange. These conditions are essential to students' attainment of a global mindset that can drive our programmatic effort toward strengthening both hard and soft skills, and inspiring more empathetic and capable hearts.
