In August of 2014, Â鶹´«Ã½’s English Department began sponsoring a themed, cross-university literary contest. In 2019, in cooperation with the Art Department, we asked students to submit their best works of poetry, fiction, nonfiction and, for the first time, cover art. We awarded first, second, and third place winners in the four categories. This year, along with the award winners, our editors have again selected the best of the rest and published the collection in our "Gun Violence: How Has It Affected You and Your Family?"-themed student journal: the 2023 Edisto River Review. This edition, our fourth 100% student-content edition, is hot off the press. In it, you’ll find submissions by students from across Â鶹´«Ã½’s departments and schools. If these works don’t knock your socks off, I don’t know what will. Enjoy!
