Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long are online classes?
    Online classes are eight weeks long. Most students take two to three classes at a time. There are two sessions in the Fall and Spring semesters and one compressed Summer session.
  • How long will it take for me to earn my degree?
    Students are required to complete the majority of their general education courses before starting cohort courses in the major. The cohorts are designed so that students can complete their major coursework in three semesters and one summer session. If students enter the program with a two year degree, they typically can complete their bachelor’s degree in 18 months.
  • Am I required to be online at a certain time?
    Classes are asynchronous – you do not have to log on and complete work during a certain time. Most professors will have due dates each week for discussion form posts and assignments.
  • Will I have to come to campus for access to student services?
    You will never be required to come to campus if you are enrolled in Â鶹´«Ã½ Online, with the exception of our RN-BSN program. Due to the nature of our Nursing curriculum, student are provided with some Saturday intensives for completing the RN-BSN program. Online students have access to virtual support services, the library, the book store, the Writing Center, and all on-campus student services.
